Bosch Solar Energy is seeking an experienced and professional Technical Project Lead to support our North American sales team. The Technical Project Lead will work closely with the sales team to evaluate commercial, municipal and utility scale solar PV projects. You will actively drive the technical evaluation of projects and make decisions on hardware, layout, design and installation of systems in order to maximize the performance of the system and to deliver the best customer solution. You will have experience designing and engineering solar PV systems from medium to large scale projects.

We are currently looking to add a Lead Solar Installer to our Residential PV Team. This position will include the following responsibilities:
Ability to train and manage installation crew
Contribute to the design and layout of PV systems as necessary
Work with engineers, architects, general contractors, owners, electrical inspectors and utility engineers effectively and in a professional manner
Intersolar North America will take place from July 14-16 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This event, held in conjunction with SEMICON West, is a trade show and conference focusing on photovoltaics, solar thermal technology, and solar architecture.
Intersolar North America will include informative conference sessions, an Innovation Exchange, a Job and Career Forum, and exhibit hall with hundreds of exhibitors. This event is expected to draw over 15,000 attendees, including technology developers, investors, and government officials. Other organizations will also be presenting other programs in conjunction with Intersolar North America.

Community Energy Services is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to building sustainable communities in the greater Bay Area through innovative and hands-on energy and building improvement programs. We work in partnership with cities, counties, and utilities to provide these services in underserved and vulnerable communities.
We are looking for a program manager to run our new Smart Solar Program, a solar and energy efficiency consumer education program that we are piloting in Berkeley as part of the DOE’s Solar America Initiative. The goals of this project are to (1) accelerate the adoption of solar technology at the local level by engaging the City, vendors, consumers, community-based organizations, and regulators; (2) provide a model for other cities; and (3) promote solar technology among residents and local businesses in Berkeley and the East Bay.
The Program Manager will be responsible for designing, planning, staffing, and running the day-to-day operations of the Smart Solar Program.

On October 15 from 6:30 - 8:00pm a program entitled Find Your Solar Dream Job will take place in San Diego. This program will include Andy Black (On Grid Solar) and a panel of four solar companies and will provide an overview of job opportunities in solar as well as strategies for getting into the industry. This event is taking place in conjunction with Solar Power International '08 and Solar Energy Week.
